Support to EBRD via Stantec in Turkey in the appraisal of a proposed investment programme to reduce non-revenue water in Muğla’s water supply and distribution system, where losses are estimated at around 50 percent due to aging infrastructure. The assignment included technical and financial feasibility assessment, financial and economic analysis, preparation of the Priority Investment Programme, procurement strategy, Green Economy Transition assessment, and environmental and social assessment.

Advised on procurement and contract strategy, including exploaration of right contracting strategy from FIDIC to performance-based contract models, packaging of works and consultancy services, review of water supply projects, and assessment of operational and institutional capacity gaps.
